Holiday Time

G and I are headed to visit family during the coming weeks and I'm very excited that she will be able to play with her three (human) cousins for Christmas. The kids, ages 3, 2 and 6 months, know G is coming and have  been very busy "preparing" for her arrival.

First, G is scheduled to sit at the dinner table next to 3 year old during Christmas Eve dinner (in spirit at least).  2 year old has already purchased G a Christmas present to open so that G won't feel left out. And finally, we've decided that 3 year old and 2 year old and possibly even 6 month old will have to assist me in taking G for a walk so that "G" is tired out (read: everyone is going to need nap time when I'm through!).

So funny to hear how the kids are planning for G's visit and I can't wait to see everyone!

Any special holiday plans in the blogosphere? :)

  1. G will sleep for days after the visit!! I bet the kids will too. It is really nice to have family that welcomes our furkids. Plus, kids drop tons of food so I bet G will be in heaven.

We will have Christmas Eve at our house and on Christmas day we have to leave Kitty and Co at home for a few hours to go to my Grandmother's. Boo. She doesn't allow any pups and it makes me VERY resentful. She's 84 though so it is not like I can say much. My parents on the other hand welcome Kitty and Co as if made of gold and shower them with gifts. Needless to say they will get tons of loot from them.

  2. It sounds like a great family gathering! Hopefully everyone (human and dog) will be exhausted!

  3. Hitched a ride here from Heather and Pauley James's blog! New follower! Wishing you, your furbabies, and the rest of your family .. Happy Holidays!
