Well, rumor has it (via The Weather Channel) that it's going to be close to, if not over 100 degrees today. [Ed. note: The NY Times has a lovely little article about how the heat yesterday broke all sorts of records and, due to global warming, we can most likely expect these August-like temperatures earlier and earlier each year.]
When I left G this am, the air conditioners in my bedroom and living room had to remain on and, for once, my North facing apartment (read = no direct sunlight) actually worked to my advantage. Hopefully, when the dog walker comes around 1, it's not too hot for her to enjoy her time outside!
It's been like that the last 2 days here in Chicago, though rumor has it it's only going to be in the 60's today.
